 Become a member of Arc Northland and aid us in our mission to create equal opportunity for quality living and to enhance dignity and respect for people with disabilities and their families.  Help us make a difference in people's lives. Our initiatives foster awareness and influence community thinking in a very positive way.  We care about people with disabilities. 

Why We Need Members

·              There’s power in numbers. Your membership is vital to help create positive changes in the quality of life for persons with disabilities. A larger membership-base means a more powerful voice to the Senators and Legislators to protect the rights of persons with developmental disabilities. We need your vote and opinions on policies and issues at the local level.

·              Membership dues help generate funds that allow us to work towards achieving our mission by providing programs and services to people with disabilities within our communities.

·              Members help inform the public of the issues: Awareness is a result of membership.

·              Members are our leadership base for the future.

·              Gain awareness of issues affecting people with developmental disabilities through meetings, newsletters, e-mails, etc

·              Social events discount: participate in our events where you will have an opportunity to meet people who also share a passion for Arc Northland’s mission (Dances and family picnic)

·              Volunteer opportunities: Build lifetime friends while helping Arc Northland in a variety of different ways (fundraising, event planning, citizen advocacy, administrative assistance, etc.) 

·              Access to a dedicated and knowledgeable staff that can help you with your own concerns and problems
